從此第三，義便明斷善，論云：「如是所說十惡業道皆與善法現起相違，諸斷善根由何業道？斷善續善差別云何？」頌曰：
Next is the third part, taking the occasion to explain the severing of the roots of good. The treatise says: "All of the ten unwholesome karmapathas described above are contrary to the arising of wholesome dharmas. By which karmapatha are the roots of good severed? What are the differences between severing the roots of good and reconnecting the roots of good?" The verse says:
