17.6

「唯邪見斷善，所斷欲生得，
撥因果一切，漸斷二俱捨。
人三洲男女，見行斷非得，
續善疑有見，頓現除逆者。」

"Only wrong view severs the roots of good; what is severed is innately acquired in the desire [realm], / repudiating causes and fruits entirely; they are severed gradually, and both are abandoned together. / [It occurs among] humans of three continents, male and female; those prone to views sever them, [their essence being] non-possession. / Reconnecting the roots of good is through doubt or view of existence; [reconnection is] sudden and in the present [life], except for those who committed heinous crimes."
