"The transforming minds are fourteen;
The fruits of concentration are from two up to five.
As obtained by their supporting concentration,
From a pure [mind] they produce their own and two.
Transformed objects are produced by their own ground;
Speech is produced by one's own or a lower ground.
The transformed body and the creator of transformation
Must speak together, unless it is the Buddha.
First one resolves to leave the body behind,
And afterward gives rise to another mind and speech.
Some say at death a solid body remains;
Others say there is no retaining.
At first, many minds [create] one transformation;
Upon perfection, this is reversed.
What is obtained by cultivation is indeterminate;
What is otherwise obtained admits of the three moral natures."
