27.78

聲聞麟喻佛，二三千無數者，諸大聲聞能於二千世界起神通用，麟覺能於三千世界，佛能於無數世界神通自在。

Regarding "for disciples, rhinoceros-like ones, and Buddhas, [the ranges are] two thousand, three thousand, and immeasurable [worlds]": the great disciples are capable of exercising supernormal functions over two thousand worlds, the solitary realizers like a rhinoceros (khaḍgaviṣāṇakalpa) over three thousand worlds, and the Buddhas have sovereign supernormal power over immeasurable worlds.
