第三、別解脫戒等，等取惡律儀等也。別解脫戒是有記故，通法後得，即是戒在過去，現在起得，成就不失也。此別解脫戒不隨心、色，勢微劣故，無法前得。

In the third, "prātimokṣa vows and the like," "and the like" includes unwholesome discipline and the like. Because prātimokṣa vows are determinate, they admit of acquisition subsequent to the dharma; that is, while the precepts are in the past, an acquisition arises in the present, possessing them without losing them. Because these prātimokṣa vows do not conform to mind or matter and their force is subtle and weak, they lack acquisition prior to the dharma.
