除二通變化者，此二通變化是通果無記，有三種得。前言無記得唯俱起，故須除也。二通者，天眼、耳通相應慧也。能變化心者，謂十四能變化心也。論云：「天眼、耳通慧及能變化心勢力強故，加行差別所成辨故。雖是無覆無記性收，而有前後及俱起得。」

"Excepting the two superknowledges and the magical transformations": these two superknowledges and magical transformations are indeterminate fruition of superknowledge, and they have three kinds of possession. Previously it was said that possessions of the indeterminate are only simultaneous, and therefore they must be excepted. The "two superknowledges" are the wisdoms associated with the divine eye and divine ear. The "minds capable of magical transformation" refers to the fourteen minds capable of magical transformation. The treatise states: "Because the wisdoms of the divine eye and divine ear superknowledges, as well as the minds capable of magical transformation, have strong power and are accomplished through distinctive preparation, although they are subsumed under the non-defiled indeterminate nature, they have prior, posterior, and simultaneous possessions."
