景師解云：心，謂一切種子所隨，依止性者，即是集起種子義。又是所隨依附性者，即是持種、集起諸法二義，集起故得名心。

Master Jing explained, saying: ''Citta' means that which is conformed to by all seeds; that which is by nature the support is simply the meaning of accumulating and giving rise to seeds. Furthermore, 'that which is conformed to by nature as dependent' means the two meanings of holding seeds and accumulating and giving rise to all phenomena; because of accumulating and giving rise, it obtains the name citta.'
