Regarding intoxication: Master Ji says: This has four conditions; it takes torpor, restlessness, heedlessness, false mindfulness, distraction, greed, hatred, and so forth as its essence, or takes the concurrent mind and mental factors as its nature. One opinion holds: It extends to the five consciousnesses, but is spoken of exclusively because it is predominant in the mental consciousness. Master Jing says: Five conditions.
