結成住劫中，言二十減、二十增者，若對法論則同小乘，初一唯減、後一唯增，中間十八，有上、有下，與此不同，云何會釋？

In concluding the formation of the dwelling kalpas, regarding the statement 'twenty decreases and twenty increases': the Abhidharmasamuccaya agrees with the Hīnayāna that the first has only a decrease and the last has only an increase, while the eighteen in between have both ascents and descents. As this differs from the present text, how are they reconciled?
