第七不合父母師長中，云任所屠害捶縛貨賣者，隨順父母以知恩故任彼屠害，尚自不敢竊壞施心。何況顯然施來求者，此總結上不得施父母等，有心尚自不壞，何況顯然品用布施。

In the seventh, regarding not [giving away what is] inappropriate, such as parents, teachers, and elders, the text says: 'submitting to their slaughter, beating, binding, and selling.' Because one complies with parents out of gratitude for their kindness, one submits to their slaughtering and beating, and one would not dare even secretly violate the intention to give [respect to them]—how much less would one openly give them away to a beggar! This concludes the above [discussion that] one must not give away parents and the like: even in one's mind one would not harm them, how much less openly treat them as articles for giving.
