10.130

第八句意謂不合以諸百姓等妻子眷屬奪別取布施，唯總以此川土或全或分而布施時，其百姓妻子等在中總得布施，雖得布施仍告彼曰：如我恩化敬崇佛法，汝亦宜然。

The meaning of the eighth clause is that it is not appropriate to forcibly seize and take away the wives, children, and dependents of common people to give them away; only when giving an entire domain or a portion thereof as a whole, and those common people, wives, and children are included within it as part of the overall gift, may they be given. Even though they may be given in this way, one still tells them: 'Just as I show kindness, educate, revere, and esteem the Buddha-Dharma, you should also do likewise.'
