Regarding 'all-knowledge', according to the various sūtras and treatises, the knowledge of all aspects is conventional wisdom, and all-knowledge is ultimate wisdom. If according to the sūtras and treatises translated by Tripiṭaka Master Paramārtha, wisdom conforming to principle is called knowledge of all aspects; because the realm of phenomena of tathatā is the seed, cause, and condition of all dharmas, [wisdom that takes] the seed and cause [as object] is called knowledge of all aspects, deriving its name from the object. As the Abhidharmakośa says: 'The knowledge of all aspects destroys all darkness'; here conventional wisdom is called all[-knowledge]. Now, relying on this text, wisdom taking the real as its object is called purified wisdom, and wisdom taking the conventional as its object is called all-knowledge.
