基師解云：何者十一相，若勘前略解饒生十一相釋下文十一切相者，謂諸菩薩於諸有情彼彼事業皆為助伴下，為第一。又諸菩薩有情如理宣說謂於樂行惡行等下，是第二。又諸菩薩於其有恩諸有情所深知恩惠下，是第三。又諸菩薩於遭怖畏諸有情類能為救護，是第四。又諸菩薩於處衰惱諸有情類能善開解下，明第五。又諸菩薩備資生具隨有來求即皆施與下，是第六。又諸菩薩性好攝受諸有情類如御眾下，明第七。又諸菩薩於有情心性好隨轉隨心轉時下，明第八。又諸菩薩性好讚揚真實功德令他歡喜下，明第九。又諸菩薩性好悲愍以調伏法調伏有情下，是第十。又諸菩薩為欲饒益諸有情故現神力下，明第十一。此十一準上略解十一相配之。

Master Ji explains: As for what the eleven marks are, if one examines the previous brief explanation of the eleven marks of benefiting sentient beings to interpret the subsequent text on all the marks: the passage from 'all bodhisattvas are companions to sentient beings in their various undertakings' downward is the first. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas speak in accordance with the Dharma to sentient beings, namely regarding those who delight in wholesome or evil conduct' downward is the second. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas deeply know the favors conferred by sentient beings who have been beneficent to them' downward is the third. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas can protect and rescue sentient beings who encounter terror' is the fourth. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas can skillfully resolve the distress of sentient beings who are in decline and anguish' downward explains the fifth. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas provide provisions and give them all to whoever comes seeking' downward is the sixth. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas by nature delight in gathering in sentient beings, just as a leader commands an assembly' downward explains the seventh. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas by nature delight in adapting to the minds of sentient beings, and when adapting to their minds' downward explains the eighth. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas by nature delight in praising genuine virtues to cause others to rejoice' downward explains the ninth. 'Furthermore, that all bodhisattvas by nature delight in feeling compassion and subdue sentient beings through methods of taming' is the tenth. 'Furthermore, that for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, all bodhisattvas manifest supernormal powers' downward explains the eleventh. These eleven match the eleven marks of the brief explanation above.
