憍世耶衣者，梵云俱舍，此云繭。西方無家神蠶繭，唯有野神繭，蠶繭所出絲作衣，名憍世耶衣。舊云憍舍耶衣，音訛也。

Regarding 'kauśeya cloth': in Sanskrit it is called kośa, which here means 'cocoon'. In the western regions there are no domestic silkworm cocoons, only wild silkworm cocoons; cloth made from the silk produced from such cocoons is called kauśeya cloth. The old translation says 'qiaosheye cloth', which is an erroneous pronunciation.
