清淨靜慮中，第六與第七何別？基云：第六、順入住出自在。第七、逆入住出自在，故有別也。景云：九者、離一切見趣者，離見惑也。十者、一切煩惱所知障淨者，離修惑也。

Among the pure dhyānas, what is the difference between the sixth and the seventh? [Kuai]ji says: The sixth is mastery in progressive entering, abiding, and emerging. The seventh is mastery in reverse entering, abiding, and emerging; hence there is a difference. Jing says: The ninth, 'leaving all views and destinations', means leaving the afflictions of seeing. The tenth, 'purification of all afflictive and cognitive obscurations', means leaving the afflictions of cultivation.
