言復次如是六度乃至應知者，三藏云：勘善戒經，初有如是我聞三紙許經，以是佛說三紙已後並是地持更無差別，疑初三紙翻譯之人不解方音翻為經也，其實但是彌勒所造。

Regarding the passage 'Furthermore, thus are the six perfections... and so forth up to... should be known': The Tripiṭaka Master states: 'Upon examining the Bodhisattvacaryānirdeśa, at the beginning there are about three sheets of text with "Thus have I heard" as a sūtra; because it was spoken by the Buddha, everything after those three sheets is identical to the Bodhisattvabhūmi without any difference. It is suspected that the translator of those first three sheets did not understand regional dialects and translated it as a sūtra, whereas in fact it was merely composed by Maitreya.'
