10.588

景云：此四句中，前二在家，雜惡行者雜善行惡，先惡行者凡有所作以惡為先，下二出家。一、有諸罪；二、心有雜染。泰云：於諸有情雜惡行者，先作惡後修善也。有罪行者遮罪也，是罪非染故。雜染行者，性罪也。

Jing says: "Among these four clauses, the first two are laypeople: 'those of mixed evil conduct' mix good deeds while doing evil; 'those of previously evil conduct' perform evil first in whatever they do. The lower two are renunciants: first, having various offenses; second, their minds have defilement. Tai says: 'Toward sentient beings of mixed evil conduct' refers to those who first commit evil and afterward cultivate goodness. 'Those of offensive conduct' refers to prohibitive offenses, because they are offenses without being defilement. 'Those of defiled conduct' refers to offenses of intrinsic nature."
