文分為二：初約大小二相以破實有；二、又善男子下，約假有觀成破其實有，前中有二：初略破法外四相；二、如是四種下，廣破法外四相。於中，初將欲破先申正義；二、此中菩薩下，破邪執。於中有二：初明總觀非實；二、又諸菩薩下，以理別徵以破實有。

The text is divided into two: First, refuting real existence in terms of the major and minor characteristics; second, from "Furthermore, good son" downward, refuting their real existence through the completion of the contemplation of nominal existence. In the former, there are two: First, briefly refuting the four characteristics outside of phenomena; second, from "Such four kinds" downward, extensively refuting the four characteristics outside of phenomena. Within this, first, wishing to refute, the correct meaning is first set forth; second, from "Here, the bodhisattva" downward, erroneous attachments are refuted. Within this, there are two: First, explaining that the general contemplation is not real; second, from "Furthermore, the bodhisattvas" downward, individually interrogating through reason to refute real existence.
