11.315

泰云：一誹謗三寶者，二非誹誹讚中庸者，三樂廣說者，四樂略說者，景云：一、輕毀如調達事以輕毀入已；二、中庸如眾集最煗語調伏；三、廣說智四略說智為鈍利差別故。

Tai says: '1. Those who slander the Three Jewels; 2. Those who are intermediate, neither slandering nor praising; 3. Those who delight in extensive explanations; 4. Those who delight in brief explanations.' Jing says: '1. Disparagement, like the matter of Devadatta, who was brought in through disparagement; 2. Intermediate, like subduing with the gentlest speech in an assembly; 3. Wisdom of extensive explanation and 4. Wisdom of brief explanation are due to the distinction between dull and sharp faculties.'
