論解所調伏界無量中，增七門云一、「輕毀」，如調達事，以輕毀入已。二、「中庸」，如眾集，最耎語調伏。三、「廣說智」；四、「略說智」，為鈍利差別故。增九門中，「遠、近調伏」者，如年月為長時短時，為異故。

In the treatise's explanation of the immeasurable realms of those to be disciplined, the division into seven lists: first, "disparagement," like the incident with Devadatta, who was disciplined after entering through disparagement. Second, "moderate," like the assembly, disciplined with the gentlest words. Third, "wisdom of extensive exposition"; fourth, "wisdom of brief exposition," for the distinction between dull and sharp faculties. In the division into nine, "distant and near disciplining" refers to long and short periods of time like years and months, establishing the distinction.
