備云：勝解與無瞋俱從助伴名為憐愍，剋體還是勝解。又解：經論稱名不定，或有說智名為大悲，如實想觀，或有當法，如虛想觀中喜無量。

Bei states: Resolute determination and non-ill-will are together called "sympathy" in terms of their auxiliary associates; in its strict essence, it is still resolute determination. Another explanation: The names used in the sūtras and treatises are not fixed. Sometimes wisdom is spoken of as great compassion, as in the contemplation of things as they truly are; sometimes it is the dharma itself, as with the boundless [state of] joy in the contemplation of conceptual representations.
