言是名無染，亦名無緣者，基解：不祈恩報名無染，不祈後果名無緣。又二種皆名無染，染通報及後世間果，故緣亦通之。

Regarding "this is called undefiled, and is also called non-conditioned": Ji explains that not seeking recompense for kindness is called "undefiled"; not seeking future fruition is called "non-conditioned." Alternatively, both are called "undefiled"; "defilement" applies to both recompense and future worldly fruition, and therefore "conditioning" also applies to both.
