論解七相怜憐第五中，「法云是名無染，亦名無緣」者，不祈恩報，名無染；不祈後果，是無緣。又二種皆名無染，染通報恩及後世間果故，緣亦通之。

In the treatise's explanation of the fifth of the seven aspects of compassion, where "the Dharma says this is called defilementless and also called objectless": not seeking recompense for kindness is called defilementless; not seeking future fruits is called objectless. Furthermore, both are called defilementless, because defilement extends to recompense for kindness and future worldly fruits; "object" also extends to them.
