"In all modes, up to: cannot be led away or wrested" is the eighth [clause], on the merit of being incapable of being led away from the Buddha's holy teaching. Master Ji explains: Why was it said earlier in the first stage that one is not led by others, and now it is discussed again? The meanings differ: in the first stage, it meant that [one's understanding of] the teaching on tathatā is not led by others, or that [one's understanding of] all teachings is not led by others, but it was not being led by others in their general characteristics, not in their specific characteristics. Now, here, in all modes of the holy teaching one is not led by others; it is being incapable of being led away in specific characteristics.
