最初轉，從此已後，餘復為餘已下，展轉化導遍諸有情，此解輪義，五世尊自顯墮在諸佛說法大師圓滿攝故，能說正道破邪道，於道怨敵無有怯弱，為伏他論宣揚自論，故名師子吼。

"Initially turned; from this point forward, others further for yet others," and so on below: successively guiding and transforming all sentient beings throughout; this explains the meaning of "wheel." Fifth, the World-Honoured One himself displays being included in the perfection of the great teaching masters among all buddhas; hence he is capable of expounding the correct path and smashing false paths, having no faint-heartedness toward the enemies of the path, and proclaiming his own doctrine in order to subdue the doctrines of others; therefore it is called the "lion's roar."
