如來於此靜慮所乃至等持等至者，釋上引經作用及以結文等，偏說如來依靜慮意，如來於此靜慮所作種類多住如實故，唯說靜慮所攝解脫等持等至，不說無色定中解脫等持等至。

"The Tathāgata, in regard to this dhyāna... up to... samādhi and samāpatti": this explains the function of the cited sūtra above and the concluding text, exclusively discussing the Tathāgata's reliance on the intention of dhyāna. Because the Tathāgata, in regard to the kinds of actions produced by this dhyāna, mostly abides in things as they truly are, it only speaks of the liberations, samādhis, and samāpattis subsumed under dhyāna, and does not speak of the liberations, samādhis, and samāpattis within the formless absorptions.
