此中言非集諦因等者，若勝軍云：此解脫分亦善根，雖體有漏方便善攝，令福分善等種子增長感異熟果，而隨順無漏，正不能感生死總根苦果。

Regarding the statement here that it is 'not the cause of the truth of suffering' and so forth: According to Jinaprabha, this aid to liberation is also a root of goodness. Although its intrinsic nature is tainted, being subsumed by skill in means, it causes the seeds of the merit-conducive [roots of] goodness and the like to increase and produce fruits of maturation; yet, because it accords with the taintless, it strictly cannot produce the suffering fruits of the general roots of cyclic existence.
