13.334

言諸色根根依、及識、此二略說能持一切諸法種子等者，景云：色根謂眼等五根，根依者則符根塵，大與根合一，心為第二，此中略不辨心所，但持自心所種。

Regarding "The physical faculties, the supports of the faculties (indriyāśraya), and consciousness—these two, briefly stated, are capable of holding the seeds of all dharmas, etc.": Jing says: "The physical faculties refer to the five faculties such as the eye; the supports of the faculties are the supporting physical elements (fùgēnchén), the great elements merging into one with the faculties. Mind is the second. Herein, mental factors (caitta) are omitted in brief; it merely holds the seeds of its own mental factors."
