通第三經中，（景云：）已與果竟種子相續，與根功能雖盡，生自類功能仍相續有，取已與云根果功能已盡名過去界，當生果種子，現在續流，名未來界，與現果未竟，名未與果名現在界。（泰云：）若色與果種子相續，名過去界。若未與果當來種子相續，名未來界。若未與果現在相續，世以與自類種子盡必滅，果生故因滅，過去果生現在，則非現在種也。又釋：據隨轉理門，從與他類六七果義，因滅果生故，種若現在，亦非與果也。

In reconciling the third sūtra, (Jing says:) 'When the seed-continuity has already yielded its fruit, although its capacity to grant the sense-faculties is exhausted, its capacity to produce its own kind still exists in continuity.
