The tenth major section comprehensively differentiates the names and meanings of dharmas unassociated [with mind]. Ji says: The phrase 'unassociated' refers to nominal designations of provisional marks, in order to generate verbal expression. As stated earlier under wisdom arisen from contemplation: 'verbal expression is generated based on six things'; their substance consists of verbal expressions belonging to a subject, etc., and they do not have the two kinds [of substance] like form, but have only nominal names. The first fascicle of the Prakaraṇāryavācā says: 'One should know that there are also such categories that are summarily not established,' which refers to non-acquisition, etc. The preceding ten sections have already summarily differentiated the six skills to completion.
