Regarding "moreover, the meaning of the growth, increase, and expansion of these two should be understood as previously explained": due to the power of the afflictions and latent dispositions, consciousness has going and coming, and has death and rebirth. Aside from this, there are no other causes or conditions to be found, which is called the extreme of causes and conditions. It again repeats that the consciousness having going and coming and the consciousness having death and rebirth constitute the two; the meaning of the growth, increase, and expansion of these two should be understood as previously explained. Apart from what was analyzed before, the rest are not causes and conditions; thus causes are called the extreme of conditions. From "up to this point" downward, it concludes both extremes together.
