泰云：亦由餘義境界無故者，若如外道所立神我之識，境界無故不知何答也。上來明愚癡外道，或復有能下，明利根外道亦迷問也。

Tai says: "Regarding 'also because there is no sphere of objects with another meaning': if it were like the consciousness of the ātman established by non-Buddhists, because there is no sphere of objects, they would not know how to answer. The above explains foolish non-Buddhists; from 'or there may be those capable of...' downward, it explains that sharp-rooted non-Buddhists are also deluded when questioned."
