自下第三明二寂止，於中有三：一、明修觀識住寂止；二、明能對除識勝利差別；三、釋經中六句文義。前中有四：一、明識住因緣寂止；二、明識住寂止；三、結因緣寂止；四、結識住寂止。前中，初明諸煩惱事寂止；二、明隨眠寂止。前中，初立宗，二、所以下，釋言。

From here below, third, it explains the two cessations. Herein there are three: first, it explains the cessation of the stations of consciousness through cultivating contemplation; second, it explains the differences in superior benefits of the consciousness that can act as an antidote; third, it interprets the meaning of the six phrases in the sūtra. The first part has four: first, it explains the cessation of the causes and conditions of the stations of consciousness; second, it explains the cessation of the stations of consciousness; third, it concludes the cessation of causes and conditions; fourth, it concludes the cessation of the stations of consciousness. In the first part, it first explains the cessation of the objects of the afflictions; second, it explains the cessation of the latent dispositions.
