自下第二約名色二義明蘊善巧，於中將辨，先許說色，然後說者，分別色中，先問後辨，辨中先舉一頌列其十門，次第解釋。一、物；二、微細；三、生起；四、安立；五、流；六、業；七、剎那；八、獨；九、所行；十、相雜。

Next, second, explaining skill in the aggregates according to the two meanings of name and form: in being about to explain them, it first promises to explain form, and afterward explains [name]. In analyzing form, it first questions and then distinguishes; in distinguishing, it first cites a verse listing its ten gates, and explains them in sequence: first, substance; second, subtlety; third, arising; fourth, establishment; fifth, flow; sixth, activity; seventh, instantariness; eighth, solitariness; ninth, scope of operation; tenth, intermixture.
