別異住者，有兩解。一解：同泰。又解：勤策起邪見說婬欲，非障道等，故被擯，名別異住，然未犯重，此中別住是遮類攝，餘皆是難。

Regarding living separately, there are two explanations. One explanation: identical to Tai. Another explanation: a novice gives rise to wrong view, stating that sexual desire does not obstruct the Path and so forth, and is therefore cast out, which is called living separately, yet has not committed a grave offense. Separate living here is subsumed under the category of disqualifications, while the rest are difficulties.
