15.164

下引經為證有二句：一、入變壞心者，佛見眾生若起貪時，即記彼言入變壞心，即成向淨妙煩惱壞苦所攝；二、又作是言已下，證未離欲遇反壞事即生憂惱，故知煩惱成苦事。

Below, citing sūtra as testimony, there are two sentences: (1) "entering a mind of alteration and destruction": when the Buddha saw sentient beings give rise to craving, he immediately declared that they had entered a mind of alteration and destruction, which then fulfills what was said above about being subsumed under the suffering of change of pure and sublime afflictions; (2) from "he also said this" onward: it proves that one who has not separated from desire gives rise to grief and distress upon encountering matters of reversal and destruction; thus we know that afflictions constitute matters of suffering.
