15.326

測云：方釋處所，隔越重釋去來時遠，今云時隔越，釋成去來。方隔越，釋成處所。小論明四遠，謂處時性相，如善惡無遠色。雖同一身中起，以性異故，名為性遠，如四大種雖一身中，堅濕煖動相異，故名相遠。此中略不辨二也。

Ce says: Direction explains location, while separation further explains the distance of departure and arrival in time. Now it says temporal separation explains departure and arrival, while spatial separation explains location. Minor treatises explain four kinds of distance: location, time, nature, and characteristic. For instance, wholesome and unwholesome have no distant form; although they arise within the same body, because their natures are distinct, it is called distance of nature. Just as the four great elements, although within one body, differ in characteristics of solidity, moisture, warmth, and motion, it is called distance of characteristic. Here, these two are omitted and not differentiated.
