The meaning of revolving in mutual blending: just as the four dusts of a single material thing mutually blend, so too do the four aggregates blend in a single mind. The meaning of being summarized into a single category: taking directly the five sense faculties and dusts within a body of a single category, they are summarized and aggregated; within a category of a single mind, there are also eight consciousnesses and mental factors that co-arise and aggregate in a single moment, which is also called summarizing. Further, as stated in fascicle 53: all matter, past, future, or present, up to distant or near, and likewise up to consciousness; thus summarizing and subsuming the aggregation of all aggregates is the meaning of aggregate. The meaning of increase and decrease: tentatively relying on the different increases and decreases of nourished faculties and dusts to explain aggregation. Furthermore, when wholesome or defiled minds arise, if there are many minds in the same group, it is called increase; when an indeterminate mind arises, having many numbers is called decrease. Also, only because there is increase and aggregation can there be diminution; here, diminution is cited to prove that there is aggregation.
