又云：流者類如識具三種成就。根若缺者唯有種子成熟。其識流類，根缺不缺俱可得，故知有根識生，不由識有根有。

He also says: As for 'continuum', this category means that consciousness possesses three kinds of fulfillment: when a faculty is deficient, there is only the maturation of seeds. The continuum of that consciousness can be found whether the faculty is deficient or not; thus one knows that when there is a faculty, consciousness arises, but it is not because of consciousness that a faculty exists.
