15.92

疑依六事生：一、聞不正法前後相違疑所說理是正非正；二、見師邪行疑彼所行是道；三、見所信受意見差別者，所信受外道從眾意見不聞，疑彼所趣非真究竟；四、性自愚魯，因此生疑；五、甚深法性未了生疑；六、於廣大法教智退故疑。

Doubt arises relying on six matters: first, hearing non-genuine Dharma that is contradictory from beginning to end, doubting whether the principle stated is correct or not correct; second, seeing a master's wrong conduct, doubting whether his practice is the path; third, seeing differences of opinion among those one has faith in and accepts—when the heterodox teachers one accepts do not agree with the multitude's opinions, doubting whether their destination is truly ultimate; fourth, being foolish and slow by nature, producing doubt on this account; fifth, producing doubt through not having comprehended the profound nature of dharmas; sixth, doubting because of regression of wisdom regarding the vast Dharma teaching.
