次明證得，若預流練根，亦證一來果者，泰師等云：初果欲轉根時，作意求利根。復求一來果者，能斷六品惑時，得一來果，堪達見至，亦無間道雙斷根果事性障故。若別斷時招果別，二障別斷。

Next, explaining realization and attainment: regarding 'if a stream-enterer refines the faculties, they also realize the once-returner fruit', Master Tai and others say: 'When one who has attained the first fruit wishes to transform the faculties, they form an intention to seek keen faculties. If they further seek the once-returner fruit, when they can sever the six grades of affliction, they attain the once-returner fruit, becoming capable of attaining the state of having reached seeing, and because the path of non-interruption severs both the obstacles of the faculty and the fruit regarding both matters and nature. If they are severed separately, distinct fruits are induced, and the two obstacles are severed separately.'
