泰云：此就隨轉理門故不相應。今準唯識論，前約內緣俱生貪慢，故說相應，此中約外緣分別貪慢，故說不相應。

Tai says: 'This is in accordance with the provisional teaching conforming to the disciples' capacities, hence they are not conjoined. Now, according to the Cheng weishi lun, earlier it was based on innately arisen greed and conceit with internal referents, hence they were said to be conjoined; here it is based on conceptually differentiated greed and conceit with external referents, hence they are said not to be conjoined.'
