第四重解隨惑中，景云：皆是煩惱品類者，是根本惑及是隨惑後流類名為品類，或是舉分名為品類。誑諂，是邪見品類、等流者，同小論說，所謂五邪見諂依由是生等，今者大乘尋伺不并，不同薩婆多同在一心。

In the fourth reiterative explanation of the secondary defilements, Jing says: 'Regarding "all are categories of defilements": the subsequent streams of the root defilements and secondary defilements are called categories; or, singling out portions is called categories. Deceit and flattery being categories and outflows of wrong view is identical to the teaching of the Hīnayāna treatises, namely that flattery arises depending on the five wrong views, and so on; now in the Mahāyāna, investigation and reflection do not occur simultaneously, unlike the Sarvāstivāda where they are together in a single mind.'
