三藏云：身在下地伏下修惑，上地修惑得行，下地見惑遇緣便起，上地見惑亦得現行，與自地定互相入出。

The Tripiṭaka Master says: When the body is in a lower stage and suppresses the lower afflictions of cultivation, the higher stage's afflictions of cultivation can operate; when meeting conditions, the lower stage's afflictions of seeing then arise, and the higher stage's afflictions of seeing can also manifest, entering and emerging mutually with the absorption of its own stage.
