第六解增減門中，初明殺生增減四句。於中，增長非作，亦作亦增長，二句名增，作不增長，不作不增長，二句名減。

In the sixth section explaining the gateway of increase and decrease: first, the four permutations of increase and decrease regarding the killing of living beings are explained. Therein, [1] increased but not performed, and [2] both performed and increased—these two permutations are termed "increase"; [3] performed but not increased, and [4] neither performed nor increased—these two permutations are termed "decrease."
