今言羅漢不善決定受業，皆輕苦所逼名報熟者，即是報定位不定業，由此羅漢猶受別報苦受。言若已轉依等者，即是報不定位定之業，羅漢不受。

Now, the statement that for an arhat the unwholesome karma of definite fruition is all oppressed by light suffering, which is called "the ripening of retribution," refers precisely to karma where the retribution is definite and the stage indefinite, and because of this, an arhat still experiences the suffering of individual retribution. The statement "if one has already attained basis-transformation" and so forth refers precisely to karma where retribution is indefinite and the stage definite, which an arhat does not experience.
