五、解了果差別者，謂諸惑斷，滅無為所攝。前約增上以辨解了果，今約離繫以辨果差別。又解：前約自性，後約差別。

Fifth, understanding the distinctions of the fruit means the severance of all afflictions, subsumed under unconditioned cessation. The former distinguishes the fruit of understanding in terms of the predominant; the present distinguishes the varieties of the fruit in terms of disjunction. Another explanation: the former is in terms of intrinsic nature, and the latter is in terms of distinction.
