"It should be known that the remainder—co-locational non-separation and separated non-separation—is the characteristic of an aggregate." In this text there are three kinds of non-separation: 1. Co-locational non-separation (ekadeśāvinirbhāga), as the producing in relation to the produced, and different primary elements with the same produced form; or different produced forms with the same four primary elements, or the same produced forms with the same four primary elements—without different primary elements and different produced forms—is co-locational non-separation. 2. Mixed non-separation (miśrikāvinirbhāga), such as phenomena of the same class within a single aggregate. 3. Composite non-separation (saṃhatāvinirbhāga), as hemp, beans, and the like held together by glue and the like.
