18.346

自下束四種修總為二種，謂防護受持修及作意思惟修，自下開二為四，謂此中修身，名防護修者，觀身不淨名修身，即是前第三除去修。

Below, the four kinds of cultivation are bundled into two kinds: cultivation of guarding and upholding, and cultivation of attentiveness and reflection. Below, the two are opened into four: here, "cultivating the body" is called "cultivation of guarding"; contemplating the impurity of the body is called "cultivating the body," which is the third cultivation of removal mentioned above.
