18.391

言若不相違；即此補特伽羅，是無般涅槃法，亦是有般涅槃法者不應道理者，一切眾生，略有二種。一者、畢竟能斷二障；二、求不能斷二障。初人是有涅槃性，第二人是無般涅槃法人。若汝言二人不相違者，不應道理。

Where it says 'If it is not contradictory, then it is unreasonable that this same pudgala is a dharma without parinirvāṇa and also a dharma with parinirvāṇa': sentient beings are briefly of two kinds: first, those who are ultimately able to sever the two hindrances; second, those who ultimately cannot sever the two hindrances. The first person has the nature of nirvāṇa; the second person is a person who is a dharma without parinirvāṇa. If you say these two persons are not contradictory, that is unreasonable.
